Wild about Swimming is proud to announce our history with Help for Hero’s. Working in rehabilitations centres as their swim coach, enabling service personnel to find their passion for all thing aquatic both in the pool and the open water.
Our soldiers have successfully completed Ironman events (some even sporting the Ironman logo in the form of a tattoo as testament to their achievement). Others took part and were highly successful, taking home medals for Great Britain, in the INVICTUS Games held in London in 2014. Luke Reeson and Cowan Shane Botha, both competed with Luke stealing the show and coming home with 5 podium finishes.
Why do they do it – fitness, relaxation, that getting away from life feeling…whatever the reason we hold a high success rate with our swimmers as i am sure they will let you know.
There’s no prouder coach than me when i stand pool/lake side and watch them achieve!
Aquatic rehabilitation is rewarding for both coach and swimmers, whether you want to swim one length or the channel we are here to help.
